Outdoor gyms in Venice

Realizing seven outdoor fitness areas in the Venice Lagoon was not only a great achievement for SkyFitness, but also a unique challenge that made us extremely proud. Venice is an extraordinary city with an unparalleled historical and environmental heritage, but also with very strict logistical, landscape and structural constraints.

Designing and installing outdoor training equipment in this context required innovative solutions, careful planning, and a deep respect for the Venetian environment and landscape. Every phase of the project, from the choice of materials to the logistics of transportation, was studied in detail to ensure that the new fitness areas would be perfectly integrated into the lagoon city, without altering its harmony while ensuring maximum durability of the facilities in an environment exposed to salt and humidity.

To celebrate this challenge and share our approach, SkyFitness created the documentary “La palestra tra le calli”, an immersive narrative that takes a close look at our team's work in creating the Venetian outdoor gyms.
